Hanover, NJ police recently charged a woman with False Public Alarms, NJSA 2c:33-3, with allegations related to the novel coronavirus. The cops had begun investigating a woman after a one-car motor-vehicle crash earlier in March. The cops suspected she was operating the motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicating substance. During questioning, the woman allegedly became belligerent.
